Constellatys aisbl (international non profit association) operates outside any religious, philosophical or political allegiance, and aims to contribute effectively to the full, happy and sustainable integration of expatriates in their host country, in particular in Belgium and Luxembourg (with a specific focus on staff and their families, active and retired, of the European Institutions, international organizations, the Diplomatic and Consular Corps as well as the European and International Schools).

Its main tasks in the host countries are :

• to initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with the local authorities and administrations to facilitate the installation, integration and well-being of its members and their families;
• to involve its members actively  in the local community;
• to promote and develop  intergenerational activities, to preserve and maintain supportive relationships amongst its members in working life and those on pension;
• to develop  partnerships with other  organizations which share similar goals;
• to promote among its members solidarity activities which would support  charitable projects aimed, in particular, in the fight against poverty and social exclusion and ensuring respect for human rights in general; with a particular emphasis  on children;
• to provide concrete support and assistance, in whichever way  possible to charities and humanitarian organisations, as well as to sporting, cultural and leisure groups which are supported or promoted by its members;
• organizing information campaigns; awareness raising and fundraising in in order to create and develop a network of mutual aid and solidarity. It can organize or promote  any type of event to support its activities;
•  to support and assist  any activity with similar objectives to its' own
• organizing its own events, social, cultural and sports in order to raise funds to support charitable projects as mentioned above;
• to make every effort, by all means at its disposal, in order to offer its members various benefits of  a social, cultural or  economic nature.
  

The AISBL is run on a voluntary basis by  its members, who are  mainly from the international organizations and  who are committed to maintaining  the highest standards of ethics and behaviour.

Constellatys is a non-profit association; meaning that it does not involve any money transactions. However, as one of the aims is to raise funds for charity projects, Constellatys has appointed the "Expatrium" (www.expatrium.be) to deal with all commercial issues.
The Expatrium is a service organisation, whose purpose is to provide "News, Events & Good Deals for Expats". And this organization puts every effort in raising funds for the charity projects selected by Constellatys through the organization of exclusive events for its members.

Constellatys est une aisbl en formation dont le but social, en dehors de toute espèce d'appartenance religieuse, philosophique ou politique, est de contribuer efficacement à la pleine, heureuse et durable intégration des expatriés au sein de leur pays hôte, particulièrement en Belgique et au Luxembourg (avec un focus spécifique sur les membres et leurs familles, en activité et pensionnés, des Institutions européennes, des Organisations internationales, des Corps Diplomatiques et Consulaires ainsi que des Ecoles européennes et internationales).
Ses principales missions consistent au sein du pays hôte :

• à initier, développer et entretenir des relations privilégiées avec les Administrations et autorités locales afin de faciliter l'installation, l'intégration et le bien-être de ses membres et de leurs familles;
• à faire participer ses Membres à la vie active du pays;
• à favoriser et à développer tout type d'activités intergénérationnelles, visant à conserver et entretenir des liens solidaires entre les Membres en activité et les Membres pensionnés;
• à favoriser le partenariat avec des associations partageant les même buts;
• à promouvoir parmi ses Membres une action solidaire au bénéfice de projets caritatifs visant notamment à lutter contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion sociale et à garantir le respect des droits de l'homme en général et de l'enfant en particulier;
• à apporter support et assistance directs, sous toute forme possible aux associations caritatives et humanitaires, aux cercles de loisirs, sportifs et culturels, soutenus ou promus par ses Membres;
• à organiser des campagnes d’information, de sensibilisation et de récoltes de fonds afin de créer et de développer un réseau d’entraide et de solidarité. Elle peut organiser tout type d'événement visant à soutenir son action;
• à prêter son concours et à s'intéresser à toute activité similaire à son objet;
• à organiser ses propres événements, sociaux, culturels et sportifs dans le but de récolter des fonds au bénéfice des projets caritatifs désignés ci-avant;
• à mettre tout en oeuvre, par tous les moyens à sa disposition, pour faire bénéficier ses Membres d'avantages d'ordre social, culturel et économique.

L'AISBL fonctionnera sur la base du bénévolat de ses membres, issus principalement du monde des organisations internationales, selon les normes d'éthique et de déontologie les plus élevées.
